A stunning desk from the 40/50s made by Matthews I believe they were Liverpool based and made quality office furniture.
It’s well used and shows signs of use. The leather has now been glued backdown. Photos to follow of how it looks now.
Lovely lines this thing is not just great looking but sturdy and practical.
We have used it the past 4 or 5 years and before that it was my brother in laws, who got it from his father that worked in midland bank where we believe this was originally from.
It’s not new it’s not perfect but it is stunning!
